Ah, straight from the horse's mouth!  It's tough to argue with Gene Wolfe
himself about what Typhon knew! : )  I agreed with all your other points
about Quetzal's motivation, my only speculation was to whether Pas was in
the know with the inhumi=2E  Alas, apparently not!  Too bad, though, I lik=
