Subject: (urth) _Annotated Hobbit_, second edition

Douglas Anderson's _The Annotated Hobbit_ was reissued last month in 
a second edition.  In this new edition, Anderson has greatly expanded 
the note on "warg" that cites a letter of J.R.R. Tolkien to Gene 
Wolfe; the new text contains a brief appreciation of Wolfe's work and 
of the significance of Wolfe's interest in words related to his 
surname.

The note is printed on pp. 146-147 of the new edition.
