Yeah, but knowing human beings, that prejudice could easily exist whether
there was any basis for it or not.
You could re-write that substituting whites, blacks, and the accusation
that a man who looked white had some black ancestry, and you'd have a
conversation that would have represented the attitudes of a whole lot of
real-world people a hundred years ago. But I wouldn't site that fact as
evidence that blacks aren't really sentient.
