The latter is pretty good, his other books have similar themes I think.

Patrick White's _The Solid Mandala_ and possibly _Riders in the Chariot_
have quite well hidden kabbalistic themes IIRC; a quick web search only
brings up a discussion of Boehmian theology and _Voss_ -- he is a Nobel
laureate and so *high lit*, you know ;)
