Talking about Dunsany reminded me of the fate of one of the characters in
_The curse of the wise woman_, who may get the choice (he chooses the
downward path) of dying and going to heaven, or instead going to
Tir'nan'ogh.  I think some Irish beliefs offer Heaven/Hell or just fading
away here.
