Dadgummit. I always forget something.
	The Quadrumvirate alludes to the Triumvirate that took over in Rome after
the collapse of the decadent Old Roman Republic. That's also part of
Wolfe's "American" story. The collapse of America into licentiousness and
tyranny will eventuate in some new order. Ben Free "prepares" his new
"triumvirate" for this purpose.
